Community Service

As much as we try to build community within Dartmouth College, here at Hillel we also know that a real community must be aware and sensitive to those outside its walls (or the Bubble, as many students call it). In this vein, Hillel is an active participant in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and also cooks dinner for the Upper Valley Haven once a month, in order to assist those who are hungry, homeless and in need of assistance. Every term, the community service chair tackles baking hundreds of loaves of challah to raise hundreds of dollars for Challah for Hunger. Join us in our pursuit of tikkun olam (healing the world) by stopping by and baking some food!
